St Mirren 1 – 5 Celtic
  • O’Hara (6th minute pen)
  • Dunne (Red Card 38th minute)
  • Neves Filipe (56th minute)
  • Johnston (61st minute)
  • Abada (70th minute)
  • O’Riley (72th minute)
  • Oh (81st minute pen)

The game could not have got off to a better start for St Mirren as they took the lead in the 6th minute from a penalty by O’Hara.

St Mirren continued to look good in the first half and Saints fans may well have been dreaming of beating Celtic twice in Paisley in the same season until Charles Dunne was shown a red card in the 38th minute.

Although St Mirren finished the first half 1 goal to the good, the 2nd half was a different story with Celtic scoring 5 goals without reply.

The result still leaves St Mirren in 6th place in the league and fighting for that top 6 finish.

Celtic restored their nine-point lead.
