A yellow weather warning has been issued for Renfrewshire from 4pm today.

The Met Office has confirmed they believe there may be a small chance of disruption from heavy rain this afternoon.

Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures along with the chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.

There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads due to flash flooding.

The weather warning will remain in place until 6am tomorrow.
