Police in Paisley have been stopping cars as they ramp up attempts to trace a woman missing from Paisley.Siobhan Malley, who is 35, has now been missing for 1 week. Yesterday officers confirmed she was last seen about 3.42pm on Wednesday, 24 January 2024 entering Fountain Gardens in Paisley at the Caledonia Street entrance.

This afternoon, officers stopped and spoke to drivers outside the park where Siobhan was last spotted in an attempt to jog people’s memories.



Siobhan is described as white, 5ft 7inch tall and of medium build, with brown hair which she wears tied back, however she could be wearing it down.

When Siobhan was last seen she was wearing yellow jogging trousers, a white hooded top, a beige jacket and white trainers.

Inspector Gillian Cooper of Paisley Police Office said on Tuesday: “It has now been 6 days since our last confirmed sighting of Siobhan and we are increasingly concerned for her welfare. We have dedicated resources around the clock looking to trace her urgently however we continue to appeal for the assistance of the public.

“I would urge anyone who has seen her, or if you recognise her from the description and photographs, please contact us. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact us as soon as possible.”
