A care worker will stand trial accused of neglecting a patient and stealing his medication.
David McDonald, 36, allegedly committed the offences at a property in Glasgow’s Govan between 14th and 16th November 2022.
Court papers state McDonald, of Paisley, was the care worker of William Geddes.
The charge says McDonald ill-treated or wilfully neglected Mr Geddes.
Allegations state that the carer failed to provide him with proscribed medication and did not carry out personal care tasks.
McDonald is further alleged to have failed to use an overhead tracking hoist to lift Mr Geddes into bed.
A separate charge claims McDonald stole Mr Geddes’ proscribed medication between the same dates.
McDonald denies the two charges at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
A trial has been set for July by Sheriff Patrick Hughes and McDonald is ordained to appear in court meantime.
