Officers are appealing for information after a car and a bin were set on fire in Paisley.
The incident happened at around 2.45am on Monday at Bute Crescent.
The fire is being treated as wilful.
Detective Sergeant David Tomlinson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0304 of 3 June, 2024. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
