Crowds are set to soak up the summer vibes at Barshaw Gala Day with an afternoon packed full of exciting activities for all the family.

Taking place on Saturday 22nd June, from 11am to 4pm, Barshaw Park will be a hive of activity as the local community comes together for one of the highlights on the calendar.

There will be a variety of stalls from local businesses, food traders and community groups, and of course, the gala day favourites of face painting, balloon modelling and funfair rides will keep everyone entertained.

Talented musicians and dancers will be taking to the live stage throughout the day.

Kids can keep active in the park with activities from Street Stuff and Paisley Rugby Football Club, and circus skill workshops with Circus Alba. Kelburne Hockey Club will be showcasing from 11am-12pm, followed by come-and-try activities and sports activities by the St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Heritage Trust will be bringing along a selection of heritage fire trucks, and Barshaw’s very own miniature railway will be running throughout the day.

Barshaw’s recently refurbished boating pond will be celebrating it’s 100th anniversary later this year and will be playing host to Paisley Model Yacht Club’s annual races as part of the gala day between 11am and 1:30pm.
