As the General Election campaign concludes, Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate Jack Clark, has said voters across Renfrewshire are “ready for change” and for a fair deal.
Jack has been campaigning for action to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, better public services, and a cleaner environment with dependable, green jobs. The Lib Dem man claims doing so would mean financial security, better support for local residents, and the certainty for young people to have careers they can build their futures in.
The Scottish Liberal Democrat manifesto offers ‘a fully costed plan’ to tackle the health and care crisis, clean up sewage in our waterways, and put the economy back on track.
Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Paisley & Renfrewshire South, Jack Clark, said: “It is plain to see that people across Renfrewshire are crying out for change. A change locally, a change of government, and a change for the better.
“As a young person, it is so disheartening to see our services being hollowed out, rivers being pumped with sewage, and people standing in the supermarket wondering whether their value range is too expensive.
“Local services have been brought to their knees, housing and food costs have soared, and we are seeing no real action to clean up our environment. All this by a Conservative government in Westminster more interested in fighting between themselves than standing up for the country, and an SNP government in Holyrood distracted by scandal and division.
“Every vote for the Liberal Democrats at this election is a vote to elect a strong local champion who will fight every day for our services and our communities. A vote for me will be a vote for a fair deal for you, for Renfrewshire, and for our country.”
