An MSP who serves Renfrewshire has confirmed he is standing to become the Scottish Conservative leader.
Russell Findlay announced he is running to succeed Douglas Ross as party leader. Mr Ross has said he would continue in the role until a new leader is selected.
Mr Findlay is a former journalist and the Conservatives’ justice spokesperson at Holyrood and has been a West of Scotland MSP since 2021.
