Police Scotland are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a 15-year-old teenager missing from Johnstone.

Ross McCormick was last seen by his family around 1.30pm on Wednesday 24th July, 2024 in the Quarrelton Grove area.

He is white, around 5ft. 7 inches in height, with a slim build and short, black hair. There is no information on what he could now be wearing.

Ross takes daily medication and it’s not clear if he has enough medication with him.

Officers have been carrying out extensive inquiries and speaking with family and friends, but no-one has confirmed seeing or hearing from him.

Any relevant CCTV footage continues to be reviewed with the last confirmed sighting of Ross in the Govan area on Thursday 25th July, 2024.

Ross also has family and friends in the Airdrie area and officers are conducting inquiries in that area.

Inspector Andrew Stewart said: “Our concern for Ross is growing given the lack of knowledge around whether he has enough medication with him. I would appeal to anyone who knows Ross or has any information about where he might be to speak to us. We want to ensure he is safe and well.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4358 of 24 July 2024.”
