Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses after a woman was headbutted to the face in a Paisley park.

The assault happened at Barshaw Park, Paisley at around 8.20pm on Wednesday 28th August 2024.

The suspect is described as a white male aged approximately 40 to 45 years old, wearing blue shorts, a blue cagoule and possibly a dark baseball cap. The suspect is reported to have been accompanied by a small white Spaniel-type dog.

The assault took place on the path from the golf club towards the Café.

Police Scotland said: “Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have information is asked to contact 101 and quote incident 3788 of 28/08/2024. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
