Bellway Homes has donated £200 to Renfrew Ladies FC to help them kick off the new season in style.

The team, who train at Renfrew Juniors ground at Argyle Avenue, plan to use the money towards the running costs of the team.

Club volunteer, Marion Baird who is also mum of the current team captain Emma Baird, said, “We really appreciate Bellway’s donation as it’s an ongoing struggle to keep up with costs and we are reliant on the generosity of businesses and supporters.

“The team who play in the SWF Championship have got off to a good start to the season with several wins and one of their new players, Becky Downs, was selected for the League’s August Championship Team of the Month.”

Pauline Coates, Sales Director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland West) said, “The team have a fantastic inclusive ethos where girls can join and play in Under 8s right up until they turn senior which is great to see. We’re delighted to have been able to provide some support and wish them all the best in the current season.”

Bellway Homes  is currently building a development of new homes at Ferry Village, Braehead and at Dargavel Village in Bishopton. Ferry Village offers a collection of one and two bedroom apartments alongside three and four bedroom homes Dargavel Village features three, four and five bedroom homes.

The showhomes and sales office are open every Thursday from 10am until 7pm; Friday 10am until 5pm; Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 5pm and Monday 10am until 5pm.
