Football fans across Scotland are set for an unforgettable evening as one of the nation’s most cherished football icons, Ally McCoist, launches his highly anticipated new book – Dear Scotland.
This special event will feature an exclusive in-conversation session with renowned sportswriter Leo Moynihan, offering fans a rare insight into McCoist’s remarkable career, personal stories, and an opportunity to hear directly from him about his new book.
With an impressive record of 61 caps and 19 goals for the national team, Ally McCoist has been a part of some of the great Scotland teams of the past and played with some legendary players across an illustrious career. After retiring from football, Ally enjoyed success as both a manager and commentator, captivating audiences with his sharp wit and insightful analysis. Recently awarded an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours, he now presents the TalkSport Breakfast show and works with both TNT Sport and ITV.
Now, for the first time, Ally is taking readers on an unforgettable journey through Scottish football. Tickets for the event are now on sale for £30 each, which includes a signed copy of the new book. Proceeds will be donated to McCoist’s chosen charity, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, set up by the late fellow Scottish sporting icon, Doddie Weir, to support Motor Neuron Disease suffers and further research for a cure.
