Popeyes has announced its brand-new Braehead restaurant will open on Friday 6th December.
The first dinners can enter their new restaurant at 11am.
It will be the fourth restaurant in Scotland for the brand, which is famous for its Louisiana-style chicken. There are branches in Barrhead, Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow and Aberdeen.
To celebrate the opening, the first 100 customers will receive a free Chicken Sandwich, plus exclusive merchandise. The first 3 people queuing in-line will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year.
Ahead of the launch, chicken fans can also enter on their website for the chance of winning a Chicken Sandwich by signing up for an online account via the Popeyes website.
Customers queued for 18 hours ahead of the Sauchiehall Street opening, arriving from as early as 10pm the night before.
The flavour of New Orleans will arrive in Braehead as the restaurant will open with the full Popeyes menu. The line up includes fan favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Wings, Tenders and Signature Chicken Wraps.
Each piece chicken is marinated for 12 hours in a signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then hand-breaded and batteredand complemented by delicious sides like its Southern Biscuits and Cajun Gravy.
The chain will also be serving up its Festive menu featuring The Festive Superstack Sandwich, Sage & Onion Hash Browns and the Frostin’ Mint Shake made with Oreo. Available from opening day until 6th January.

The new restaurant will be located in Braehead Shopping Centre in the old KFC unit and will bring over 100 new jobs to the local area.
