Two suspects are to stand trial charged with the abduction and robbery of a man.
James Taggart, 34, and Stephen Mullen, 50, are said to have committed the crime over two days in May 2024 at a flat in Paisley, Renfrewshire.
It is claimed the man had his hands and feet bound together with charging cables.
One was also allegedly put around his neck.
Prosecutors state he was held against his will, forced to the floor and a broken bottle brandished at him.
The man is said to have been threatened, demands made for the PIN number for his bank card before he was stuck in a cupboard and hit on the head.
The pair allegedly stole a jacket, trainers, a phone, house keys and a wallet.
Mullen separately is accused of then withdrawing various sums of money from the man’s bank account.
It is said Mullen was subject to six different bail orders at the time from Paisley Sheriff Court.
Both also face a cocaine possession charge.
The case called for a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow where lawyers pleaded not guilty on behalf of each.
Lord Mulholland fixed a trial due to start in January 2026.
