The next meeting of the Johnstone History Society will take place on Tuesday 9th January in the Masonic Hall in Collier Street, Johnstone.
Murray Shaw will host a presentation on the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
Johnstone History Society still have a small number of calendars in stock, and they will be available for purchase on the night for £6.
If you can’t make it along, then any remaining stock will be available for purchase from Johnstone History Museum, which is open 10:30 a.m. till 16:00, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday inside the Morrisons Johnstone store.
Morrisons have now reopened the Bridge End entrance to the shop, so access to the museum is easier, although the lifts remain out of order.
Doors for the talk open at 7.15 for a 7.30pm start. Everyone is welcome to attend. Members are free and visitors cost £2.
