The much-anticipated Erskine Veterans Charity Biker Meet has been scheduled for Sunday 26th May.
The new look event is set to be a fabulous day out as thousands of bikers and visitors flock to the charity’s Bishopton Veterans’ Village for an afternoon of fun designed for all the family.
Erskine, Scotland’s foremost Veterans’ charity, is kicking off the event, now in 18th year, with a dazzling motorbike parade arriving at the estate entrance at 1pm. The hundreds of bikes, led by vintage cars, will be cheered into the Village by the crowds lining the driveway which will include service men and women of Royal Artillery, 7 Scots Company and 102 Field Squadron.
Then it’s on with the fun of the day. Live music, family entertainment and a variety of market and street food stalls as well as the new addition of an exciting inflatable village by Ace Bouncy Castles, offering towering bouncy castles to adrenaline-pumping assault fun runs, adult discos and more.
From Viking reenactments and axe throwing to the more sedate craft activities with our fabulous local community groups to the Erskine Bikers Bungee Jump for the adrenaline junkies, what a day it will be! Dozens of daring thrill seekers have booked their slot to jump 160 feet from a crane in front of the gathered crowd. There are still slots available if you feel brave enough to join them just go to erskine.org.uk/erskinebungee for more information.
