It will begin to feel like winter this weekend as chilly Arctic air spreads across the area.

Snow and ice warnings have been issued by the Met Office from Monday morning through to Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are expected to fall below the November average from Sunday.

There is expected to be highs of 8°C today, however wind chills will make it feel cooler.

The expected snow shouldn’t be heavy and will freeze up over the coming days with highs of 4°C and lows of -2°C for the remainder of next week.
