M*THER LINES: Print-making & hand textiles workshop series

What can we learn about ourselves and our communities through looking at the lives of our mum’s, aunty’s, nan’s or chosen families?

Join artist Rebecca Livesey-Wright (founder of Kinfolk Families) to create a collaborate artwork exploring family and community! We’ll spend 8-weeks together creating and exploring our family or chosen family through conversation and the creation of artwork. Techniques will include lino printing, photo printing transfers, embroidery and crochet. As the sessions progress, we’ll start to design a collaborative artwork, which will be displayed in an exhibition in Renfrewshire early 2027.

IS IT FOR ME?

This series is perfect for beginners and more experienced creatives. All you need is yourself. All materials are provided.

The sessions will be facilitated and held by Rebecca and Kairos staff member Katy. We are trauma-informed and will seek to make the sessions nourishing and supportive.
