Detectives are seeking information following an assault and robbery in Renfrewshire.
The incident occurred at around 6.50am on Friday morning when a woman walking her dog in the Ardgryffe Crescent area of Houston was approached by another woman wearing a black and pink waterproof coat.
The victim was assaulted and her belongings were stolen before the attacker, who was accompanied by a Great Dane puppy, fled the scene.
The 40-year-old victim was treated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and discharged later that day.
Officers would like to speak with the driver of a black Audi car that was in the area at the time, as they may be a potential witness.
Detective Sergeant James McAteer described the incident as “very upsetting” for the victim and urged anyone with information to come forward.
He added: “Around the time of the incident, a black Audi car was in the area and we would like to speak to the driver and see if they saw anything.
“In addition, if you have private CCTV or were driving in the area around 6.50am on April 18 and have dash-cam that could assist officers, then please contact us.
