A woman has been arrested after the car she was driving collided with another car, causing it to flip and end up upside down in a Paisley Street.
Police and Ambulance were called to George Street at Barr Place, Paisley at around 8.15pm last night.
It’s believed one car was driving at speed when it collided with another which caused the first car to flip. When it came to a halt, it was upside down in the middle of the road for hours, closing the road to other car users.
The driver of the upside down car left the vehicle, however she then returned to fetch her belongings from inside. Afterwards she ran on foot and left the scene after the incident, according to eyewitnesses who spoke to Renfrewshire News.
