The WoSFL First Division match against Blantyre and Arthurlie was called off after a player took ill.<\/p>\n
The referee made the call after a Blantyre player needed medical treatment during a pre-game warm-up.<\/p>\n
Physios staff and a member of the crowd applied first aid to the player.<\/p>\n
Blantyre Victoria said:\u00a0 “All at Blantyre thank Arthurlie for their understanding and commitment to help with the situation and a special thanks to the Arthurlie physio and Arthurlie fan who gave first aid.”<\/p>\n
Arthurlie FC said: “After todays postponement we would like to wish [the] player all the best and speedy recovery. Things like this put everything into perspective.<\/p>\n
