Celtic will face St Mirren in the League Cup final next month after a dramatic extra-time victory over Rangers at Hampden Park.<\/p>\n
Captain Callum McGregor and teenage substitute Callum Osmand struck in extra time to send the holders through in a pulsating semi-final that saw Rangers reduced to ten men before half-time.<\/p>\n
Johnny Kenny\u2019s first-half header had given Celtic the lead, but Rangers captain James Tavernier levelled from the spot late in normal time after a handball decision went their way.<\/p>\n
Thelo Aasgaard\u2019s red card for a reckless challenge on Anthony Ralston left Danny Rohl\u2019s side up against it, and despite their resilience, they couldn\u2019t prevent Celtic from seizing control in extra time.<\/p>\n
McGregor\u2019s strike put Martin O\u2019Neill\u2019s side back in front, before 17-year-old Osmand sealed the win with his first senior goal to spark wild celebrations among the Celtic fans.<\/p>\n
