Supporters hoping to follow Scotland to the 2026 World Cup are facing eye-watering ticket prices, with even the cheapest seats for the final costing several thousand pounds.<\/p>\n

Fans\u2019 group Football Supporters Europe says it is \u201castonished\u201d by FIFA\u2019s \u201cextortionate\u201d pricing strategy and has urged world football\u2019s governing body to halt sales immediately.<\/p>\n

Prices for next summer\u2019s tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico are up to seven times higher than those charged in Qatar in 2022. The lowest-price ticket for the last World Cup final was \u00a3450. For 2026, the cheapest official supporters\u2019 allocation for the final now sits at $4,185 (\u00a33,300)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are no concessions for children or any other groups, and for the first time group-stage tickets are being priced according to the \u201cpopularity\u201d of teams rather than a flat rate. FIFA has offered no explanation of how that popularity is calculated.<\/p>\n

That quirky approach means England fans will pay more than Scotland fans for group-stage games \u2013 but both sets of supporters are still being hit with unprecedented costs.<\/p>\n

For England v Croatia on 17th June, tickets run at \u00a3198, \u00a3373 and \u00a3523<\/strong>. England v Ghana is \u00a3164, \u00a3320 and \u00a3447<\/strong>; England v Panama \u00a3164, \u00a3346 and \u00a3462<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scotland\u2019s first two group matches are cheaper, but still far beyond what most supporters expected. Haiti v Scotland is priced at \u00a3134, \u00a3298 or \u00a3372<\/strong>, while Scotland v Morocco costs \u00a3163, \u00a3320 or \u00a3447<\/strong>. The final group match against Brazil is priced at the same level as England v Croatia.<\/p>\n

Knockout round prices escalate sharply. Quarter-final tickets are \u00a3507, \u00a3757 and \u00a31,073<\/strong>, with semi-finals at \u00a3686, \u00a31,819 and \u00a32,363<\/strong>. The supporters\u2019 PMA allocation for the final \u2013 where Scotland would appear only in the wildest of dreams \u2013 is priced at \u00a33,300, \u00a34,600<\/strong>, or \u00a37,400+<\/strong> depending on tier.<\/p>\n

Following the entire tournament through to the final will cost a single supporter roughly:<\/p>\n
