Rangers striker Youssef Chermiti has struck a personal double, claiming the William Hill Premiership of Player of the Month and William Hill Goal of the Month awards for February 2026.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old, who joined the Ibrox side from Everton in the summer of 2025, stepped up with big performances in key games in February.<\/p>\n
His hat-trick helped seal a crucial three points for the Gers in a 4-2 victory over league leaders Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday February 15.<\/p>\n
The big match performances then continued with the Portuguese frontman hitting a double in the March 1 derby draw with Celtic, which was originally scheduled among February\u2019s fixtures before being moved for broadcast.<\/p>\n
That game included a stunning opener from Chermiti, with his acrobatic bicycle kick also being voted February\u2019s Goal of the Month.<\/p>\n
His performances in February keep his side in the William Hill Premiership title hunt with Rangers presently in third, six points behind pace-setting Hearts and a point off second placed Celtic.<\/p>\n
Accepting the award, Youssef said: \u201cI am delighted to win this award.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy first goal against Celtic is something that will live with me forever. As a striker you want to play and score in these games and thankfully, I have been able to do that several times this season.<\/p>\n
