Johnstone Burgh have announced that former Northern Ireland international Kyle Lafferty has extended his stay at Keanie Park for another year.<\/p>\n
The striker has been a key figure for the club both on and off the pitch since joining the Burgh and will now remain with the club for the 2026\/27 campaign.<\/p>\n
In announcing the deal, Johnstone Burgh said they were delighted that Lafferty had committed to another season, highlighting the integral role he has played in helping the club progress over the past three years.<\/p>\n
The club said: \u201cJohnstone Burgh FC are delighted to announce that Kyle has extended his stay at the Burgh for one more year.<\/p>\n
\u201cKyle has played an integral part of progressing the club over the last three years both on and off the pitch and we are delighted he has committed to us for another season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Manager Chris Faulds welcomed the agreement and believes the experienced forward can play a major role in the season ahead.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted Kyle had agreed to extend his stay at the club. On my arrival we enjoyed a good chat together and I expressed that I was very keen to work with him in the season ahead.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe discussed how best we can allow him to go and have a really impactful season, and if Kyle Lafferty is at it, then I think everyone in football appreciates what a real asset and good player he is.\u201d<\/p>\n
