{"id":184715,"date":"2026-07-28T21:54:57","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T20:54:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/renfrewshire24.co.uk\/sport\/?p=184715"},"modified":"2026-07-28T21:54:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T20:54:57","slug":"clydebank-beaten-as-kilwinning-rangers-maintain-perfect-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/renfrewshire24.co.uk\/sport\/2026\/07\/28\/clydebank-beaten-as-kilwinning-rangers-maintain-perfect-start\/","title":{"rendered":"Clydebank beaten as Kilwinning Rangers maintain perfect start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Clydebank suffered a 6-1 defeat away to Celtic B as the second round of fixtures in the Scottish Lowland League West got under way on Tuesday night.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The hosts took the lead after 17 minutes when Luke Kennedy scored with a long-range effort beyond Leishman.<\/p>\n<p>Rhys Dargie doubled Celtic B&#8217;s advantage three minutes later to give the home side a 2-0 lead at the break.<\/p>\n<p>Clydebank made a change at half-time, with Nicky Low replacing Dom Docherty, but Celtic B extended their lead through Jude Clearie on 59 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Clearie added his second seven minutes later before Charlie Charlton made it 5-0 on 69 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Dargie completed his brace late on to score Celtic B&#8217;s sixth goal before Nicky Little curled home a stoppage-time free-kick to give Clydebank a late consolation.<\/p>\n<p>The evening&#8217;s other Matchday 2 fixture saw Kilwinning Rangers continue their perfect start with a 4-2 victory away to Cumbernauld Colts.<\/p>\n<p>James Semple gave the Colts an early lead before Martin MacKintosh levelled for the visitors.
