St Mirren had taken a first-half lead with a strike from Scott Tanser at 43 mins.<\/p>\n
Hibs Youan & Vente hit back at 52 and 54 min mark and at 76 mins in St Mirren’s Baccus, who was a substitute made it two all.<\/p>\n
Martin Boyle scored at 80 mins, which was goal number five and in extra time (90+3) he scored again to make it Hibs 4-2 and put the game out of reach of the Buddies.<\/p>\n
Saints exit the Viaplay Cup with Bibs marching on.<\/p>\n
In the next round, Hearts will play Rangers and Hibernian will take on Aberdeen at Hampden Park.<\/p>\n
