Yesterday’s game was a close run affair with the strong wind having a big effect on the quality of play.<\/p>\n

It was Rangers who took the lead with Cyriel Dessers’ 12th goal of the season in the 12th minute. While St Mirren had chances from Kwon Hyeok-kyu, Elvis Bwomono and Lewis Jamieson, the Buddies should have at least finished the 1st half on level terms.<\/p>\n

The 2nd half was as close as the 1st with Rangers hitting the post from a Dressers shot, while St Mirren’s Bolton hit the bar with a header.<\/p>\n

Rangers will be happy with their win, their third away win in the space of a week, while St Mirren can be happy with their performance but disappointed to have lost the game.<\/p>\n

Saints, however, remain 5th in the league and in contention for a European place come the end of the season.<\/p>\n
