Scottish football’s best young talents are the focus of the latest episode of The Warm-Up.
In this month’s show, Kris Boyd and Chris Sutton are joined by former Scotland star James McFadden for a “Winner Stays On” debate on some of the biggest wonderkids to emerge in the Scottish game.
The discussion looks at how a football wonderkid should be judged — whether it is by how quickly they burst onto the scene or by how well they went on to fulfil their potential.
A number of well-known names are included in the rankings, including Lennon Miller, John Kennedy, Barry Ferguson, Ryan Gauld, James McCarthy, James McArthur, Aaron Hickey, Aiden McGeady, John Fleck, Charlie Miller and McFadden himself.
The episode also sees the panel discuss which players had the potential to go on and become among the very best.
Kris Boyd, Chris Sutton and James McFadden appear on The Warm-Up, William Hill’s SPFL show.
