Johnstone Burgh are set for a busy spell in April with nine matches scheduled in just over a month as the West of Scotland League season enters a crucial stage.
The run begins on Wednesday 1st April with a home tie against St Cadoc’s at Keanie Park, before Burgh host Glenafton Athletic on Saturday 4th April.
Burgh then head on the road to face Cumnock Juniors on Wednesday 8th April, followed by another away trip against Rutherglen Glencairn on Saturday 11th April.
They return to Keanie Park for a local derby against Renfrew on Wednesday 15th April, before hosting Shotts Bon Accord on Saturday 18th April.
Another midweek fixture follows against Troon on Wednesday 22nd April, with Beith Juniors the visitors on Saturday 25th April.
The schedule then continues into May with an away trip to Shotts Bon Accord on Saturday 2nd May, followed by a home match against Kilwinning Rangers on Saturday 9th May and a final away fixture at Renfrew on Saturday 16th May.
The fixture list means Burgh will play six matches in 18 days between 8th April and 25th April, with games coming every three to four days.
That demanding schedule could prove pivotal in shaping their season, with squad rotation and recovery likely to play a key role as they look to pick up points during a congested period.
Supporters will also have a number of opportunities to see the team at Keanie Park, with several of the fixtures taking place on home soil.
