Renfrew FC welcome Celtic B to New Western Park on Saturday as they look to build on their first point of the Scottish Lowland League West season.
The match, which kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 8th August 2026, will be the fourth league game of the campaign for both sides.
Renfrew opened the season with a 4-2 home defeat against Kilwinning Rangers before losing 4-1 to Pollok at New Western Park.
They picked up their first point last Saturday with a 2-2 draw away to Cumbernauld Colts.
Renfrew found themselves 2-0 down and reduced to 10 men following Gregor Wylie’s first-half red card, but fought back with two goals after the break to earn a point.
That result leaves Renfrew 14th in the table with one point from three matches, with five goals scored and 10 conceded.
Celtic B have also had a mixed start to the new season.
They began with a defeat against Beith Juniors before responding with a 6-1 victory over Clydebank. Last Saturday, they drew 1-1 with Johnstone Burgh.
The visitors travel to Renfrew sitting seventh with four points from their opening three matches.
Renfrew said: “Its very much the unknown for Frew and, looking at Celtic B’s start to the season, pretty much anything could happen. An opening day defeat against Beith Juniors, was followed by a thumping 6-1 win against Clydebank a few days later. Last Saturday they drew 1-1 against Johnstone Burgh.

Renfrew have also strengthened their squad ahead of the match with the signings of Josh Winton and Argyll McCoist, who had both featured as trialists during the club’s opening three league games.
Winton, an attacking midfielder whose previous clubs include Ashfield and Kilwinning Rangers, signed before last Saturday’s match at Cumbernauld Colts.
Forward McCoist played for Auchinleck Talbot last season after moving from Drumchapel United.
Renfrew have also confirmed restrictions at New Western Park following what the club described as “repeated disruptive behaviour”.
The club said it has taken the decision to refuse entry to all Ultras groups. Face coverings, drums and megaphones will also not be allowed, while Renfrew reminded supporters that pyrotechnics are prohibited.
The club has also asked young supporters attending the match to do so in the company of a responsible adult.
Admission on Saturday is £12 for adults and £7 for concessions.
