Scott Forrester has joined Clydebank from Johnstone Burgh on a two-year deal.
The centre-back, who turned 30 during the summer, has previously played for Pollok, Caledonian Braves, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, Albion Rovers and Glasgow Perthshire.
Johnstone Burgh confirmed they had accepted an offer from Clydebank for the defender. The club thanked Forrester for his efforts and contributions and wished him well in his new venture.
Clydebank first team manager Gordon Moffat said: “We’re really delighted to get Scott into the club. It’s been no secret it’s an area of the pitch we’ve been looking to strengthen and give us more options. Scott has just turned 30 in the summer there, so brings a lot of experience having played a large number of games at this level.
“In terms of a player, he’s someone who will really enhance our group. He’s aggressive in the air, a real force in both boxes and a good organiser as well as good with the ball at his feet. He’s a really good signing for us and will complement the guys we already have, so we’re delighted to welcome him.”
