Renfrew FC has raised around 70% of its grandstand fundraising target through donations and seat purchases.
The club said 50 seats have been purchased to date. It thanked donors and supporters as it continues to raise the remaining 30%.
In an update on its Facebook page, the club also said the SFA Pitching In Fund is expected to reopen in early spring 2027.
The club said: “We haven’t been given any information as to why it didn’t open in September as planned, but this delay has helped us to get closer to target than anticipated.”
Renfrew FC said it had been delighted with the response to its appeal so far.
It added: “Your continued support is much appreciated as we try to raise the final 30% balance.
“We’ll keep you updated on our Facebook page with all the developments, over the next few months.
