Thorn Athletic moved to the top of the First Division with a 4-0 win over Neilston at the Brig O’Lea on Wednesday night.
Nathan McLelland scored twice during the first half to give Thorn a 2-0 lead at the interval.
Corey Pearson and Caiden Adams added further goals after the break as the visitors completed the win and kept a clean sheet.
Ross Denny was named Thorn’s man of the match.
The result leaves Thorn top of the table after two matches. They have six points and a goal difference of plus eight after scoring nine goals and conceding once.
Lesmahagow Juniors and Thorniewood United also have six points, but Thorn lead the division on goal difference.
Lesmahagow won 5-1 away to Bellshill Athletic, while Thorniewood recorded a 2-1 home victory over Gartcairn.
Maryhill won 3-2 at Petershill and Whitletts Victoria secured a 3-2 victory away to Bonnyton Thistle.
Threave Rovers beat Maybole Juniors 4-1, while Kilsyth Rangers and Cambuslang Rangers drew 1-1.
Thorn will look to continue their winning start when they host Kilsyth Rangers on Saturday, 1st August.
