Renfrew Girls under-16s won the West 16s League Cup after beating Drumchapel United 16s on penalties at Holm Park on Sunday, 6th September 2026.
The final finished 1-1 before Renfrew won the shootout. Goalkeeper Lucie Carlton saved three penalties.
Renfrew reached the final with a 5-1 win over Morton girls under-16s on 9th May and a 3-2 victory over Athena Glasgow under-16s Purples on 6th June.
Drumchapel United 16s beat Houston United under-16s 3-0 on 9th May before winning 3-2 against Giffnock SC Girls under-16s Red on 6th June.
The club congratulated the players on their cup win and praised Carlton for her three saves in the shootout.
