Paisley Pirates started their regular season campaign with a 3-1 away win over Solway Sharks.
The game remained close before Paisley pulled clear in the third period to secure the two points.
Mylo Wylie, Chris Turley and Cammy Wilkie scored for the Pirates. Wylie and Wilkie both registered their first goals for the club.
Former Pirate Calum Hepburn had a strong game in the Solway goal, keeping his side in contention despite being beaten three times.
Cale Tanaka was named Pirates’ Man of the Match following his performance in goal.
The Pirates thanked the supporters who made the journey to Solway.
Paisley are back on the road for their next league game against Kirkcaldy Kestrels in Fife on Sunday, 13th September.
