Largs Thistle came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against Cumnock Juniors in the Scottish Lowland League West at Townhead Park on Tuesday night.
Darren Brownlie gave Cumnock the lead midway through the first half before substitute Sean McLeod brought Largs level with 12 minutes remaining.
Cumnock came close to opening the scoring after just four minutes when Jon Craig struck the post.
Largs threatened in the 17th minute as Blair Devine raced into the Cumnock penalty area, but Brownlie was able to clear the danger.
Brownlie then made his mark at the other end of the pitch in the 23rd minute when he scored to put Cumnock 1-0 ahead.
Largs looked for a response and William Sewell fired just wide five minutes later.
The visitors continued to push for an equaliser before the interval, but Cameron Chalmers made a last-ditch clearance in the 45th minute to preserve Cumnock's advantage.
Largs made two changes at half-time, with Cory Hughes and Corrie Fellows replacing Kieran Brady and Laurie McMaster.
Goalkeeper George O'Connor was called into action in the 52nd minute and made an important save to keep the deficit at one.
Cumnock threatened again four minutes later when Craig fired just wide of O'Connor's post.
Largs made another double change on the hour as Sean McLeod and Chris Callander replaced Liam Lapsley and Jamie Martin.
O'Connor denied Ryan Edgar in the 76th minute as Cumnock looked for a second goal.
Two minutes later, Largs were level.
McLeod, who had been introduced from the bench, scored in the 78th minute to make it 1-1.
Largs then came close to turning the game around almost immediately. Liam McVey's effort in the 79th minute was pushed onto the crossbar by Cumnock goalkeeper Blair Currie.
Lewis Davidson replaced Largs' trialist in the 84th minute.
Cumnock had another opportunity shortly afterwards when they broke forward, but nobody was able to reach the loose ball.
Neither side could find a winner as the points were shared at Townhead Park.
