Renfrew 1 – 2 Largs Thistle

Largs Thistle claimed a 2-1 win over Renfrew with a late goal settling the contest.

The visitors took the lead just before half-time when Lewis Davidson found the net in first-half stoppage time.

Renfrew pushed for a response after the break and were rewarded on 77 minutes when James Ferguson levelled the match.

The game looked to be heading for a draw, but Largs struck late on as Cory Hughes scored on 86 minutes to restore their lead.

Renfrew had a late chance to equalise, going close with a header in stoppage time, but Largs held on to take all three points.
